SINT Technology will participate at the 10^th edition of the European Conference on Residual Stresses ECRS-10, that will take place in Leuven, Belgium, on 11-14 September, 2018.

ECRS is a well-established conference series dealing with residual stresses in both structural and functional materials. From experimental methods via modelling techniques to industrial applications a broad gamut of residual stress-related topics is addressed.

SINT Technology will participate at The 5th China National Conference and International Seminar on Shot-Peening Technologies which will take place in Shanghai from June 11th to 14th 2018.

The conference will focus on shot peening technologies as applied in key equipment and critical components.

Topics include (but not limited to) following aspects:

– Conventional stress strengthening technologies such as shot peening and shot blasting, ultrasonic peening, grinding and rolling;

– New surface strengthening technologies such as laser peening, liquid shot peening and composite shot peening;

– Residual stress fields induced by shot peening and characterization of deformed structure;

– Influence of shot peening on fatigue properties and stress corrosion resistance;

In the conference, experts and scholars from both foreign and domestic institutions will present their latest researches, applications and key technical issues of shot peening. The conference will also include practical shot peening technology training workshops (with certificates) as well as a display of shot-peening equipment.

SINT Technology will be present at the 3rd International Conference of InArt (Innovation in Art Research and Technology) to be held in Parma from 26^th -29^th March  2018.

The Conference scope is to create a bridge of communication between interdisciplinary units in the field of archaeometry and especially for those regarding:

– new technological developments

– in vitro experimental set-ups and degradation mechanisms

– in situ experiments and mobile instrumentation

– non-invasive and non-destructive analysis

– Imaging techniques

– Environmental issues on the preservation of art and archaeological objects

SINT Technology will participate in the next Residual Stress Summit, to be held on Monday-Thursday October 23rd-26th 2017 at the University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, USA.

The central objective of the Residual Stress Summit series is to bring together residual stress users (who have “problems” and are in search of “solutions”) and developers (who have “solutions” and are in search of “problems”).
