SINT Technology will participate in the next Residual Stress Summit, to be held on Monday-Thursday October 23rd-26th 2017 at the University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, USA.

The central objective of the Residual Stress Summit series is to bring together residual stress users (who have “problems” and are in search of “solutions”) and developers (who have “solutions” and are in search of “problems”).

SINT Technology has been involved in the field performance testing activities on a new gas turbine installed in Oradea’s district heating plant in north western Romania.

Our scope of supply was the verification of turbine power output, heat rate and exhaust energy according to ASME PTC 22 Code. Moreover, SINT Technology designed and manufactured a thermocouple rake assembly, which was installed in the exhaust duct of the turbine for high-accuracy total temperature measurement. Our test engineers were also involved in the measurement of the emitted airborne noise and exhaust emissions at the stack.

SINT Technology was successfully involved in the field performance testing activities on a new centrifugal compressor installed in the Equion compression station of Yopal, Colombia.

Unit performances have been evaluated according to the international code ASME PTC 10 in terms of head, efficiency and absorbed power on the guaranteed operating point.
