New release of our software for the evaluation of residual stresses: EVAL8

SINT Technology is pleased to announce the new release of our software for the evaluation of residual stresses: EVAL8 is now available with important improvements!

The extended calculation strategy offers a higher accuracy comparing with the original calculation procedures. Calculation coefficients are recalculated taking into account the dimensions of each strain gage rosette available in the market.

Furthermore, the ASTM E837-20 standard includes a procedure to estimate random errors, but strains are also affected by systematic errors which are not included in the estimation. An innovative algorithm has been developed and integrated into the new software, in order to solve errors in the identification of the zero-depth point.
