    Thermographic analysis
Thermography consists in using an infrared camera (or thermal camera) to visualize and measure the thermal energy emitted by an object.

Thermal, or infrared energy is light with a wave length that is too great to be seen by the human eye; it is the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is perceived as heat. Unlike visibile light, in the world of infrared rays all elements with a temperature above absolute zero emit heat; the higher the temperature of the object, the more it will give off infrared rays. These rays therefore enable us to see what our eyes are unable to perceive.

Thermal cameras produce images of invisible infrared or thermal radiation and are an accurate measuring instrument without contact with temperatures. Considering that there is some overheating in almost all equipment prior to any damage, thermal cameras are an effective and economical diagnostic tool in several fields of applications.

In industry today productivity is critical and one of the worst events that can happen is a forced outage. Preventive maintenance is the best way to avoid this and infrared thermography plays an instrumental role in it.
Periodic monitoring enables detection of thermal transmittance from components, the first sign of mechanical or electrical deterioration of a machine, thus allowing preventive action.

SINT Technology provides its equipment and know-how, for both inspections of plants or of electrical, mechanical or thermal installations and for troubleshooting and repair inspections.

The main fields in which these types of measurements are performed are:

    - Electricity / electrical technology
    - Mechanics
    - Hydraulics in general
    - Chemical / petrochemical plants
    - Iron metallurgy
    - Civil and industrial heating systems
    - Environment
    - Building (private and industrial buildings).
